At this time last year, we were up to our ears in Fannie Mae foreclosure listings - as we had been in the two years prior. The process had its highs and lows and learning curves. We did our best to show compassion and respect to the prior homeowners - something they would report they hadn't had much of during the lengthy spiral to losing their home. We came across a LOT of different challenges to closing sales and those have helped inform our day-to-day "regular" transactions.
That business has slowed and "regular" transactions have increased. This is a good sign for a return to a healthy real estate market.
